Industry Analyst Conference for Citrix
Conference signs, icons, and promotional materials for the multinational software and technology company.
The Challenge
Citrix, a multinational technology company, needed a cohesive kit of assets for their annual industry analyst conference.
The Solution
I proposed a design system that could be applied across signs, banners, ID badges, t-shirts, and more to create a clear visual experience for conference attendees.
I began by developing a set of icons that could be applied across all Citrix conferences. The icons used the existing Citrix corporate icon style and created an immediately identifiable system that could be applied to signage and maps.
I chose photography that paired images depicting collaboration and discussion with a top-down angle showing objects and people from different heights. The photography spoke to the idea of taking a step back and viewing the world from “10,000 feet” to gain a new perspective on an industry.
Using Citrix corporate elements, I created a set of standard type lockups for the conference.
A grid system was developed showing how to lock-up navigational elements on signs to create clarity for conference attendees.
Directional signage used a standardized placement for type and icons making things easily identifiable at a distance.
Promotional banners hung throughout the conference center teased topics that were being discussed and created excitement among attendees.
ID badges and t-shirts were color coded so attendees could easily identify staff and security representatives.
The complete design system created a cohesive experience across every aspect of the conference.
