The Challenge
The Gap wanted an engaging and innovative digital advertisement created specifically for mobile devices.
The Solution
I worked with the marketing and engineering teams to develop a “slot machine” style experience that allowed users to mix and match Gap clothing to create outfits.
The team was limited to using only product photography from The Gap website. Working within those limitations, we developed an outfit creator concept.
Users could swipe through different tops, belts or bottoms to mix and match different clothes.
Users could also click the “random outfit” button which would shuffle through the different options to create a random pairing of clothing options.
Once a user had found a combination that they liked, they could tap on the clothes and shop their custom outfit.
